Jasper R

Owner and Head Coach

Coming from a humble background with no financial or family support, Jasper built Windfall Acres through hard work and determination. His experience managing, riding, and teaching at a wide range of barns shaped his belief that true success in the horse industry lies in the health and happiness of the horses; not ribbons, titles, or flashy facilities.

Earlier in his career, Jasper specialized in training and rehabilitating difficult and dangerous horses, focusing on problem-solving, biomechanics, and understanding behaviour rather than force or quick fixes. Training horses was once his primary passion when he was still able to ride, and it continues to strongly influence how he teaches today.

Jasper specializes in biomechanics, foundational dressage, “dressage for all disciplines,” working equitation, and jumping/eventing, all grounded in correct and ethical horsemanship.

He is deeply passionate about doing things slowly and correctly, stepping away from modern trends and returning to classical, proven methods with an added ethical focus to ensuring both horse and rider can thrive long-term.

Unfortunately due to a chronic medical condition, Jasper is no longer able to ride. This does not stop him from sharing his knowledge and building a future of correct, compassionate riders.

Morgan P

Beginner Riding Instructor

For nearly five years, Morgan has been a familiar and trusted face at Windfall Acres, sharing our deep dedication to equine dignity and correct horsemanship. Riding since 2005, Morgan grew up in the hunter world both competatively as well as producing and training young horses.

Morgan has spent the last several years achieving her goals in the eventing discipline, learning biomechanics, classical dressage, and branching into working equitation.

What truly sets Morgan apart is her intentional shift toward positive reinforcement and welfare-first care. She believes in stepping away from excessive force, focusing instead on patience, understanding, and the horse’s perspective. Her methods beautifully mirror our own standard of care at Windfall Acres.

As our beginner coach, Morgan excels at fostering an ego-free, encouraging space where riders can learn proper basics without pressure. Her ultimate goal is to never stop learning, inspiring her students to approach riding with the same curiosity, kindness, and dedication that she brings to the barn every single day

Taylor S

Barn Manager

Taylor has spent most of her life working in barns and learning the industry from the ground up. She began in a large hunter barn at a young age, helping with basic chores in exchange for riding lessons, which sparked a long-term commitment to barn life and horse care.

By her early teens, Taylor was assisting with camps and beginner lessons, and by sixteen she was grooming at horse shows, handling barn maintenance, and helping with the day-to-day logistics of running competitions. At nineteen, she moved into the standardbred racing industry, gaining valuable experience with conditioning, grooming, and managing performance horses.

At twenty years old, Taylor took on the role of managing a 40-horse barn, where she developed strong skills in organization, health monitoring, and overall barn operations. She has always worked in barns to support her own riding and horses, giving her a practical, realistic understanding of the industry.

Taylor joined Windfall Acres in 2023 and became Barn Manager in 2024. She brings extensive experience in rehabilitating underweight horses, managing injuries, and maintaining consistent, high standards of care. Her approach is simple and unwavering: horse welfare always comes first.
